These include vigorous walking, jogging, swimming, hiking or even mowing the lawn. Basically any movement that causes you to breathe hard and break a sweat. You do not have to go out and run a marathon either. Start out slow and build your way up to higher levels of activity. You really want to get to where you can go for 3o minutes a day, 3 to 4 days. Make sure that you stretch prior and after your workout to avoid muscle injury and soreness too.

You can control and reduce your high blood pressure naturally with out adding all sorts of chemicals to your body. It takes a little effort, but is well worth it. You can achieve a healthier, more productive, much more rewarding life with minimal work.

Pectoral Exercises - Build Chest Muscle Fast

Your pectoralis major is the largest muscle group in your upper body. Consisting of the inner, lower and upper pectorals, pectoral exercises work all of these muscles to help you develop the kind of ripped, defined chest that really shows off your physique.

Even beginning bodybuilders are aware that in order to build muscle, you have to tear it down with exercise and rebuild it with a high-protein diet. A bodybuilding diet should be at least 25% protein and 40% natural, unrefined carbohydrates, with the balance being in fats and fibers.

Pectoral Exercises should be the total focus of one workout per week. Other muscles will get worked in this routine, but only as incidental to the pectoral exercises. The exercises will involve barbells, dumbbells and body-resistance moves.

A pectoral exercises routine should start with the heaviest weights. Work down from exercises using the heaviest weights to the lightest ones for the best results.

For intermediate bodybuilders, these exercises should generally be done in three sets consisting of eight to ten reps. If you’re more advanced in your bodybuilding, then you may want to do four or five sets of six to eight repetitions instead, using heavier weights.

Bench Press with Barbell, Wide-grip

Lie on the bench, feet flat on the floor and your back kept flat against the bench. Grasp the bar with your hands double shoulder width apart and lower to your upper chest. Pause for a second and then return the bar to its overhead position.

Begin with a one set as a warm-up with a moderate weight. Perform the next sets with the maximum weight you can handle for eight to ten repetitions.

Keep your back against the bench throughout and use smooth, slow movements - arching your back or lifting your buttocks off the bench can strain your neck and cause injury.

Front Barbell Raise, Incline

Using an incline bench and a lighter weight barbell, begin with the barbell grasped palms down and your arms facing straight down. Raise the weight smoothly overhead, continuing until your arms are extended behind your head.

Dumbbell Flies, Flat Bench

Lie back on the bench, using medium bells on each side. Hold the bells straight up and then lower them, bending slightly at the elbow until your arms are parallel to the floor. Make sure not to hyperextend your shoulders during this one and lower the dumbbells slowly and smoothly.

Incline Press with Barbell, Wide-Grip

Lower the bar from overhead down to your upper chest, performing eight to ten reps. Use a heavy weight for this one; your muscles should be exhausted afterwards.

Decline Press with Barbell, Wide-Grip

Using a decline bench, begin with your arms perpendicular to the floor. Lower the weight slowly to the neck and perform eight to ten reps.

Flat Bench Dumbbell Press

Start this one with your weights overhead, then lowering them to your chest. As you lower the dumbbells, keep your upper arms as close to parallel with your shoulders as possible and keep your elbows high. For this exercise, you’ll want to use heavier weights. Do 8 to 10 repetitions.

Flat Bench Dumbbell Pullover Press Lateral

Use medium heavy bells for this exercise. Rotate the dumbbells past your head and down towards the floor, then lift the weights back to your chest and over your head in a single smooth movement. Follow this movement with a lateral fly while bending your elbows at a 45 degree angle.

Push-Ups Hands Together

Assume the push-up position with your body straight and up on your toes with your hands about a foot apart. Perform push-ups slowly for as many reps as you are able.
